Read MoreBy acknowledging the urgent need for ecological conversion as emphasized in the “Laudato Si'” encyclical, JESC assumes the mission of supporting faith-based actors in their journey towards sustainability and environmental stewardship. The JESC Carbon Initiative (JCI) provides faith actors with the tools and knowledge to evaluate their ecological impact, identify areas for improvement, and implement sustainable practices.
Inspired by Pope Francis’ call to care for our common home, the project aims to foster a culture of environmental responsibility and collaborate with institutions, schools, and communities, offering hands-on support and tailored approaches to structure climate action. Beyond the ability to inform action through data, the JESC Carbon Initiative contributes to increasing awareness and climate literacy, and fosters a deeper understanding of environmental issues and inspires collective action towards a more sustainable future.
