LEADERSHIP

Our flagship European Leadership Programme is a five-month Ignatian based formation that combines European politics, the experience of living in community, and practical insights into the European institutions. It also focuses on spiritual reflection, with coaching sessions and volunteering activities.

The European Leadership Programme (ELP) embodies JESC’s commitment to journeying with the youth and guiding leadership. The aim of the ELP is to form future leaders by helping ELP Fellows to learn about the European institutions through direct contact with politicians and decision-makers while they work or study in european-focused institutions. In addition, this Brussels immersion programme bring future leaders to contact with marginalized people and those in need. Finally, both the coaching programme and the experience of a fellowship community give the participants space for reflection and personal growth.

Together with other European social centres, JESC also organises workshops to train leadership beyond Brussels, such as the Faith & Politics Workshop taking place every second year in Venice
