The notion of “integral ecology is like Noah’s Ark, a solid reality to face storms”; while that of “sustainability” is comparable to the Rainbow of the Genesis story, beautiful and colorful, useful and pacifying, but risks being in the air and disappearing quickly. It recalls the risk of greenwashing, that is, the adjective “sustainable” is used, or some symbolic and “colorful” actions are implemented in this sense, to show an appearance of ecological conversion, but deludes itself through placebos (if not frauds).
