ELSiA (European Laudato Si Alliance) has released a statement coinciding with the conclusion of COP28.

While applauding the acknowledgement of a fossil fuel phase-out and the creation of a Loss & Damage fund, there are some concerns about the lack of a binding emissions reduction plan and over-reliance on unproven technologies.
In its statement ELSiA members urge European leaders to embrace integral ecology, act decisively, and champion ecological causes.
