We recognise our moral responsibility to respect the needs and rights of Future Generations. Long-term perspective, honest discussion and science-based analysis are key to good-quality decision-making. 

Future Generations thinking is crucial for just transition, but also beyond: we need it for the demographic decline, defence of democracy, adaptation to rapid AI development, and geopolitical uncertainties. 

We want the EU to create the necessary legal, political and procedural solutions for representing Future Generations in its decision-making processes.
