JESC and its partners are pleased to invite you to the “Interfaith Youth Convention on the European Green Deal – Striking a Deal for our Common Home”,  which will take place on 25 November 2021, from 11:00 to 12:30 CET on Zoom. The Conference will have the participation of EU Commission’s Executive Vice-President Frans Timmermans.

The online Interfaith Youth Convention on the European Green Deal will gather up to 300 young people representative of Bahá’í, Buddhist, Christian, Jewish and Muslim confessions to exchange on the European Green Deal with European Commission’s Executive Vice-President Frans Timmermans.

Young delegates from different confessions will enter into dialogue with Commissioner Frans Timmermans and share their proposals on how the EU could respond to some of the most pressing ecological challenges. They will focus on key areas of the European Green Deal: Housing and Energy, Mobility and Transport, Agriculture and Food, Production and Consumption and Education, Ecology and Skills.

The Convention is open to all young people (18 – 35 years old).
