We have just published our Annual Report 2020. Despite the challenging year, it is with great gratitude that JESC shares the main activities, publications, projects and events that kept us in the path of promoting vision and values for Europe.

The year of 2020 was marked by vulnerability due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We had to step out of our comfort zone in order to adapt to the new situation with measures worthy of a Jesuit response. Like many other enterprises and organisations, we had to learn on the ground without knowing when the pandemic would end. Yet, our response was not the one of rigid structures and processes. Instead, we addressed the crisis by entering it through vulnerability. Vulnerability has this transformative power to move you from an impossible situation to a dynamic one. Using vulnerability we had to accept going through unstable feelings and emotions. We had to use creativity and enormous courage to step into the unknown with trust and great compassion.
